The Best Snack at Walt Disney World

People often ask me what is the best snack at Walt Disney World is.  That is a tough question!  It really does change all the time.  And especially with Disney Parks adding new culinary offerings every other day, it is hard to keep up! But it has to be French Fries with Pulled Pork and Cheese!

In April 2017 my family visited The Walt Disney World Resort with his parents, and stayed at the All-Star Movies Resort.  We had a 4 year old and 3 year old at the time, and I was 7 months pregnant. The whole trip my angel husband pushed me around in a wheelchair to ease my round ligament pain that was aggravated by all the walking.

After a long day at Animal Kingdom, we all went back to the Resort for some pool time.  However, one of my bucket list items for this trip was to see the new Rivers of Light night show.  So, after asking the in-laws super nicely to watch our kids, my husband and I stole away for a date night back to the Park.

We had a little while before the show started seating, so we grabbed a quick bite from Flame Tree Barbecue.  New to the menu was a delicious-sounding option: French Fries with Pulled Pork and Cheese. Intriguing! We knew we had to have it.

And to our pleasure, it was awesome.  Smoky, sweet, savory (and don’t forget covered in nacho cheese!!) — everything you could want in a snack.  We ate while listing to the Viva Gaia Street Band. It was a great memory and glad I got to share it with my husband on this special date.

Another great benefit of the French Fries with Pulled Pork and Cheese is the share-ability.  Do you know this is a Snack Credit on the Disney Dining Plan???  You could easily split this as a afternoon hunger-buster.

What is your favorite savory snack at a Disney Park? Have you tried these fries? Let me know in the comments!

Oh, my gosh ~ we have had this!! Sooo good. We had one bad experience with it…but that was more about a cast member having a bad day. We have loved it any other time. Great use of a snack credit!
